Artist Studio Tour Application

 APPLICATION CRITERIA:

Jury Process:

  • Acceptance is determined by a jury. The jury’s decision is final.

  • $25 jury fee required.

Artwork Guidelines:

  • Original artwork only.

  • No imports, yard sales, or AI-generated art.

Artist Presence:

  • Artists must be present at their studio throughout the entire tour.

  • Early closures will result in non-invitation for future events.

  • If you need assistance, POAC may provide docents. Indicate on your application if you already have someone assisting.

Studio Specifications:

  • The Artist Studio Tour is exclusively for artists with private, home-based studios. Studios operated as public businesses, galleries, or shops are not eligible. Businesses interested in participation should explore other POAC events, such as ArtWalk (in mid June).

  • Up to two artists may share a studio space. Each must apply and pay fees separately, with distinctly displayed work.

  • Studios must meet safety standards. Artists are responsible for carrying liability insurance. POAC is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury during the event.

Acceptance Policy:

  • Only accepted artists may participate.

  • Studios exhibiting unaccepted artists will not be invited back.

  • Returning artists are not guaranteed acceptance.

  • Failure to comply with event rules, including exhibiting unaccepted artists or early closures, may result in disqualification from current and future tours.

Notification and Contact:

  • Artists will be notified via email by May 16. Please provide a valid email address on the application.

Photo Submission:

Submit 4 photos:

  1. Property entrance: street view.

  2. Studio entrance: stairs, front door, etc.

  3. Inside the studio: spaces for visitors.

  4. Artwork: an example of the artwork to be shown.

Photos should be high-resolution JPEG or PNG files. Ensure they clearly depict the described spaces or artwork.

APPLICATION PROCESS:

  • Online applications are preferred.

  • A paper application download is available if needed.

UPON ACCEPTANCE:

Participation Fee:

  • $200 per artist, due upon acceptance.

Sales Responsibility:

  • Artists manage their own sales and are responsible for reporting and handling sales tax in accordance with state laws.

Documentation and Fee Deadline:

Brochure information and participation fee are due by June 6.

Cancellation Policy:

  • Full refund for cancellations by June 6.

  • No refunds for any reason after June 6.
