Student Registration
Please read through the agreements below before completing your registration.
“EXPRESSIONS” TEEN ART CLASS RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY
I, the parent or legal guardian of the named student, hereby grant permission for this student to participate in the art classes conducted by Pend Oreille Arts Council ("the Instructor"). In consideration for allowing the student to participate in these art classes, I agree to the following terms and conditions:
Assumption of Risk: I understand that art activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to the use of art supplies, tools, and materials. I acknowledge that accidents, injuries, or unforeseen events may occur during the art classes.
Medical Authorization: In the event of an emergency, I authorize the Instructor and any appointed staff to seek and obtain medical treatment for the student. I also agree to be financially responsible for any medical expenses incurred.
Release of Liability: I hereby release and discharge the Instructor, Pend Oreille Arts Council, and any associated staff, volunteers, or assistants from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury that may occur during the art classes.
Photography and Publicity: I grant permission for the Instructor to use photographs, video recordings, or other media taken during the art classes for promotional and educational purposes, without compensation. (hands, no faces.)
Supervision: I understand that the Instructor will make reasonable efforts to provide a safe and supervised environment during the art classes.
“EXPRESSIONS” RULES & REGULATIONS
Treat fellow students, the instructor, and any assistants with respect and kindness.
Follow all safety guidelines provided by the instructor when using art supplies and tools.
Keep the art studio or classroom clean and organized to prevent accidents.
Attend all scheduled classes and arrive on time.
Notify the instructor in advance if unable to attend a class.
Use art materials and equipment responsibly.
Stay on task and use class time wisely to complete assigned projects.
Communicate any concerns or issues with the instructor in a respectful manner.
Share ideas and constructive feedback in a supportive manner.
Treat all artwork, whether personal or others', with respect.
Turn off or silence mobile devices during class to minimize distractions.
Clean and organize personal workspaces at the end of each class.
Approach art projects with a positive and open-minded attitude.
Encourage and support your peers in their artistic endeavors.
